NICF’s Fitter of the Year competition is back
NICF’s Fitter of the Year competition is back for 2024, focussing on carpet installation. Do you have what it takes to be Fitter of the Year?
Fitter of the Year is an annual competition hosted by NICF, aiming to find the UK’s best flooring fitter. For 2024, the competition focuses on carpet, testing applications installation skills and knowledge in exciting head-to-head challenges.
Competition entries are now open, with the rules outlined below:
• You do not need to be an NICF member to enter this competition.
• All applicants must be aged 18 years or over on the 30th April 2024.
• NICF council members and past winners of the Fitter of the Year LVT competition are excluded from entering.
• Deadline for entry is midnight on 30th April 2024.
Competition format:
• The initial entry will be in the format of a questionnaire, with the deadline for entries on 30th April 2024.
• The semi-final’s will take place on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th June 2024, at the FITA Training Centre, Loughborough.
• The finalists will be virtually briefed about their ‘Judges Challenge’ task in July.
• The final we be held at The Flooring Show on Sunday 15th and Monday 16th September 2024.
The winner will take home a £2000 cash prize, tools, a trophy and the Fitter of the Year 2024 title. Do you have what it takes? Sign up here.
