We caught up with global flooring leader, Tarkett, to find out about their latest ranges and what they’ll be bringing to The Flooring Show this September.

Can you tell me about the history of the company?
Tarkett is a global flooring leader, formed over 100 years ago. Today, we sell 1.3 million square metres of flooring everyday.
 
Who is the company’s target audience?
Consumers who admire the best quality, most responsibly produced flooring products.
 
Can you describe the company’s signature style?
We lead with innovation and sustainability across all product and market sectors.
 
What is the company’s secret to success?
Drawing on global experiences, delivering it locally and involving retail partners in product developments.
 
Can you tell me some interesting facts about the company?
In the UK we manufacture the flooring used in many high street retail names outlets, and our sister organisation makes the turf used by many high profile sports teams. 
 
Can you tell me about your company’s biggest achievement to date?
Our biggest achievement to date was our launch of the first ever digitally printed LVT.
 
What are your company’s five best qualities?
Sustainability, innovation, breadth of product choice, EU manufacture and good people.

Can you tell me a bit about the ranges you offer?
We offer responsibly manufactured LVT and other hard flooring products, all manufactured in Europe to the highest standards using local UK market insight. 
 
What would you say is the most popular product in your range(s)?
At the show, it was the Fast-Fit Herringbone LVT innovation which always turns heads.
 
Do you have any sustainable/eco-friendly products you would like us to highlight?
Everything we do is with sustainability in mind from using the best materials to ensure a circular approach to manufacture, distribute and re-use at the end of life.
